White Responsibility: A Conversation on Race & Faith in the Heartland

Please join the Interfaith Center at Miami University (Oxford, OH) and CRES (Kansas City) on Sunday, May 16th at 6:30pm Central (7:30pm Eastern) for White Responsibility: a Conversation on Race & Faith in the Heartland. The program will be moderated by David Nelson (founder of The Human Agenda) and will explore the following questions: 1.) What is the responsibility of white people? 2.) What is the responsibility of white churches? We welcome you into conversation with Mark Curnutte (author of Across the Color Line: Reporting 25 Years in Black Cincinnati), Garrett Griffin (author of Racism in Kansas City: A Short History), The Hon. Alvin Brooks (author of Binding Us Together: A Civil Rights Activist Reflects on a Lifetime of Community and Public Service) and Tammy Bennett (Partner, Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP).
