Mount Auburn Presbyterian Church made “Earth Care” a foundational principle of our faith community. Congregation members will share how we planned and paid for building modifications. We have installed energy-efficient windows throughout our facilities. Our heating and cooling system has been upgraded with high-efficiency pumps. Our roofs are covered with solar panels that have cut our electrical demand from the grid by 63%. Our energy savings will in time pay for our investments.

Our worship, education, and congregational life have also changed by keeping our attention on Earth Care. We will tell you more about that in the workshop. We hope you will join us to tour our facilities and see the difference we have made. The event is expected to last about 1-1/2 hr.
