Marking Time: Art in the Age of Mass Incarceration
April 22 - August 7

The newest exhibition at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center amplifies the voices of incarcerated artists and criminal justice advocates through powerful visual art. Art made in prison is often excluded by established art institutions, but Marking Time aims to shift aesthetic currents and help people understand the reach and impact of the carceral state.
Marking Time is included with general admission and is free for Members and on Fifth Third Community Days.
