InterfaithCincy, in partnership with A Blessing to One Another, is offering Interfaith Community Engagement Grants. Any Faith community or any faith-based youth group that partners with a faith community or youth group from another faith tradition to work on a community engagement project can apply. Innocent – Film Screening at the Underground Railroad Freedom Center

July 31 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

The film, ‘Innocent’ is a short form documentary that takes a deep dive into the racial disparities and injustices that are happening on Ohio’s Death Row. ‘Innocent’ looks into the cases of Derrick Jamison and Shawn Hawkins, both Black men who were sentenced to death in Hamilton County in the late 80’s and includes an interview with IJPC Program Manager Bekky Baker. There will also be a Q&A panel discussion with director Kailah Ware.
