Jubilee by Day: A day of learning, advocacy and economic empowerment. Come help us transform Cincinnati as we alleviate 400yrs of suffering!

About this Event

Are you ready to be a part of the economic shift that is happening here in Cincinnati? We are changing the narrative around black economics, and we need you to make this movement happen NOW!

On Saturday, October 12, 2019, we will unveil the pillars to uplift our community and empower citizens to be a part of the NEW ecomony. Every participant will walk away with a plan of action to take back to their respective neighborhoods and start enacting meaningful change!

Join in the community conversations led by a panel national experts and local thought leaders to address the underlying issues stifeling our growth.

Community Economics - Let's address the need for Black Cincinnatians to acquire land in their community and work toward stabilizing the local housing stock.

Enterprise & Entrepreneurship - We are providing a mechanism to spur growth among black-owned businesses. In partnership with the Universities Study of Slavery's Fall Symposium we plan to flood local black-owned businesses with busloads of shoppers eager to pour money into the local economy.

Economy - We are creating an alternative Economy driven by the Jubilee Alliance, in which members will pledge resources and make a commitment to work collaboratively.

Debt Elimination - We are using a proven model to eliminate toxic debt while educating people of color to improve their relationship with money.

Jubilee by Day will be punctuated by #ARTmeetsACTIVISM to excite and empower people to lunge forward and take back the black community. You don't want to miss this opportunity to be a part of the Jubilee Cincinnati movement!

This FREE community event will be hosted at Cincinnati State College. Please RSVP as breakfast and lunch will be provided to registered participants. In addition to filling your belly, we will also feed your spirit with actionable items you can use to empower yourself, your families and your community. We are asking that you consider donating to the Jubilee Fund in an amount equal to your perceived value.

UPDATED: We have extended the time for this event to allow more time for community members to collaborate and build upon the information that we are unveiling throughout the day!
