About this Event

On Monday, October 14, Christ Church Cathedral, the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio, and the City of Cincinnati will celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day. People are urged to recognize and celebrate the day on the weekend before with services, offerings, music, and education offered for all ages. Many other cities and states across our nation also celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

The Native American Ministry Council of Christ Church Cathedral in Cincinnati has celebrated the weekend with workshops and services involving Native Americans, since 2010. This year, on Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13, the celebration will include a workshop and a Sunday service. Join us on Saturday, October 12, for a workshop from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. The workshop offering, Care of Creation: Native Americans and the Environment, will be led by Forrest S. Cuch , Guy Jones, and the Rev. Leon Sampson.
