C3 Ohio - Empty Bowls Event
The Caring Community Collaborative (C3) will hold its fourth annual Empty Bowls lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, in Sabin Hall at Liberty Center.
If you spent time last week thinking how grateful you are for all you have, please help C3 help those with less. Join us at Empty Bowls and select a handcrafted bowl made by local artists and organizations to take home, and enjoy a choice of soup, breads, desserts, and refreshments all prepared specially by local chefs and restaurants. There are two seatings, at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The donation is $20 per person.
Also featured this year is a chili cook-off between the Liberty Township and West Chester Township fire departments!
Proceeds from the event are used to support Reach Out Lakota’s ongoing efforts to provide food and clothing to families in need in the local community, and the Faith Alliance Summer Lunch and Literacy Program, which helps more than 400 children during the summer.
The mission of C3 is to bring diverse sectors (businesses, houses of worship, different cultures) of the community together to educate and raise awareness of community-wide concerns, to identify needs, to build responsive partnerships to address and respond to issues, and to advance the quality of life for our community.
