Engage: Exploring Nonviolent Living Study Program - January - March 2018
IJPC is offering the Engage: Exploring Nonviolent Living study program.
From the Engage book introduction: “This twelve-part study and action program offers participants a wide variety of principles, stories, exercises, and readings for learning, practicing and experimenting with the power of creative nonviolence for personal and social transformation.”
Engage is designed to be a small group learning process done each week for 2 to 2.5 hours. For the sake of convenience, we will offer sessions on both Mondays from 1:00-3:00 P.M, and Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 at the Intercommunity Justice & Peace Center. Monday sessions will begin on January 8 and Tuesday sessions on January 9. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions as much as possible, but can do the readings independently for any missed session.
Space is limited and we will register people on a first-come-first-served basis. Please go to our website for full description of the curriculum. Register for Engage by clicking here.
