This year, the first Sunday afternoon in May, marked the first time that teenagers representing four major religions in Cincinnati gathered together to work as one, building a butterfly garden as an example of interfaith cooperation for our common home, the earth. The youth groups from the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati, Mayerson JCC, Trinity Lutheran Church of Mt. Healthy, and students from Mother of Mercy High School joined together at the Imago Nature Center for an afternoon of discussion, service, and fun. Read more here..
Congratulations to the dedicated people of Cincinnati in a city-wide event called GoLocal organized by Crossroads Church. On May 20th many service agencies, non-profits, and faith based congregations joined together to serve Cincinnati. Projects included landscaping, cleaning, organizing, distributing anti-trafficking material and much more. Many hands make light work!

Kids4Peace Summer Camp -Kids4Peace Interfaith Day Camp from July 31, 2017 until August 3, 2017. The camp is open to kids from the 6,7,and 8th grades, and provides a unique environment for the kids from, varied backgrounds, to have fun and make new friends while, exploring and learning about each other's religion and culture.
Ulster Project - “Ulster” is synonymous with Northern Ireland. The Ulster Project works for peace between Catholics and Protestants in a country that has had centuries of tension and violence between the two groups. (See below.) Each July, teens from Enniskillen (County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland) come to Cincinnati and stay with host teens and their families.
